The CEO Award is presented monthly to the winners, by Christian Wilcocks, who personally selects from the nominations across the Trust.

Christian is keen to read all about the nominees from our Headteachers as he understands that across the Trust all our staff, students and children work incredibly hard, make such significant contributions and are very dedicated.

This month’s staff award was Teaching Assistant at Westbrook Old Hall Primary School, Debbie Swanton.  Debbie is always wonderfully calm and nothing is too much trouble for her - she will do all she can to support the children and staff. Debbie has completed over 20 courses in her own time to benefit the children.

Mary Brennan, Headteacher at Westbrook Old Hall Primary School, nominated Debbie. Mary Said that "Debbie is a huge asset to our school. She is always wonderfully calm and nothing is too much trouble for her - she will do all she can to support the children and staff. This has been particularly demonstrated by how keen she is to undertake training, which will inform her work with the children she supports. In the past two years she has voluntarily attended about 20 courses, in her own time.”

This month’s student winner is Abigail Evans, Year 11.

Gary Evans, Headteacher at Great Sankey High School, nominated Abigail as inspiration.  Gary states that “Abigail volunteers at Warrington Food Bank at weekends and evenings and when we were running our collection over the festive period, Abi gave up her time each afternoon to organise the donations and helped collate from sixth form too. She is a kind, caring and lovely young lady. She has arranged the children in need bake sale for the past two years and the whole school raffle last Easter for the Ukraine appeal. She continuously goes above and beyond for the school and wider community. A genuine inspiration to the younger years

We look forward to celebrating the success of our colleagues and the children within our schools next month.
